PE Update: Ending the Year Strong and Starting Afresh

Message from Mr Evans
As we approach the much-anticipated summer break, I want to take a moment to share some thoughts and reminders with you all.
“Win the morning, win the day.”
This simple yet powerful mindset is one I encourage you to embrace over the summer. Each morning is a fresh opportunity to set the tone for a positive, productive day. Make the most of it!
While enjoying your break, remember to stay active and healthy—get outside, move your body, and keep your meals balanced. A healthy body fuels a healthy mind. Think of it like levelling up in your favourite game: instead of XP, you’ll gain energy (and probably fewer yawns come September).
Make time to rest and recharge—sleep well, relax, and most importantly, stay safe. Make responsible choices and look out for each other. And don’t forget, there are loads of chances to catch live sports this summer!
Before returning, please check that you have your full PE kit ready. Replace any missing items—starting the term well-equipped is like gearing up for an epic quest. You wouldn’t face a dragon without your sword, right?
Enjoy your summer, make the most of every moment, and come back ready to tackle new challenges with enthusiasm.
Stars of the Term
A big shoutout to our standout students this term! Their dedication to maintaining a Healthy, Active Mind and Body has truly impressed the PE team.
What sets these students apart is their sense of responsibility—always arriving with full kit, helping to organise equipment, and going above and beyond in every lesson. Their resilience in the face of challenges and their respect for staff and peers make them fantastic role models. Well done, and keep it up!
