Happy 12 Days of Bookmas!
Students asked for a library themed Advent calendar for the TLA Library. Mrs Harden took the task to heart and chose 12 of her favourite books to showcase each school day in December. Starting on 4 December and continuing through the last day of the term, one book was revealed. A sneak peak of the books was found on the library bulletin board. Upon revealing the book, students were then able to check them out. Additionally, a picture of the book was added to the ‘Bookmas’ tree enabling students to learn about the twelve different books.

We are excited to share that Seth Burkett will once again be working with our students. Seth is a writer and former professional footballer. Having played professional football in Brazil for Sorriso EC and Sri Lanka, Seth now dedicates his time to writing and speaking in schools. His first session was an introductory session on 14 December with the main project being a student created book. We are excited to see where it all progresses and can’t wait to share it with you next year. Seth will be visiting our school for six sessions throughout the year including a celebration to kick off World Book Week in March.
