MFL Trip to Paris
BackThis year, some of our Year 10 and 11 students had the opportunity to embark on a 4-day trip to Paris. The trip was not just an educational excursion but a chance for our students to immerse themselves in the French way of life, creating memories that will last a lifetime. We started the trip with a visit to a small bakery before heading into the heart of the city.
On day 1, students visited the Palace of Versailles and enjoyed an evening cruise down the river Seine. The following day we ventured to Montmartre, the bohemian heart of Paris. Students were fascinated by the lively atmosphere, street artists, and the stunning views from the steps of the Sacré-Cœur Basilica. In the afternoon, they climbed to the second floor of The Eiffel Tower, where they witnessed the immense views of the city. Staff and students had a fantastic time and couldn’t wait to get back and share their experiences with their family and friends.
The trip to Paris was a resounding success, providing our students with a rich tapestry of experiences that broadened their horizons and deepened their appreciation for French culture. From historical landmarks and world-class museums to hands-on workshops and cultural exchanges, the trip offered a perfect blend of education and adventure.
