Year 7 Update
BackAs we close out the first term, it's inspiring to see our Year 7 students settling well into their new environment. Transitioning to secondary school can be both exciting and challenging, but our young learners have embraced the journey with enthusiasm and determination. From engaging in various core subjects to exploring diverse extracurricular activities, they have shown great resilience and adaptability. The friendships they are forming and the bonds they are strengthening are wonderful to witness, contributing to a positive and supportive school community.
Our teachers have been impressed by the students' eagerness to learn and their willingness to participate in class discussions and group projects. It's heartening to see them take initiative, whether it's in the classroom or during lunchtime clubs and activities. As we look ahead to the next term, we encourage our Year 7s to continue this momentum, staying curious and involved. Together, we are laying a strong foundation for an exciting academic journey ahead!
This term, our focus within House Arbib centered on the theme of sustainability. To raise awareness among the student body, an assembly was conducted to discuss the importance of resource preservation. Additionally, the Arbib competition encouraged students to tap into their creativity by utilising recycled materials to design an animal of their choice. We received numerous impressive entries, and to the right are a selection of standout creations.
